Bluebonnet PageantBlair’s Western Wear Bluebonnet Scholarship Pageant

The Burnet Bluebonnet Pageant Scholarship is awarded to Miss Burnet & the 1st and 2nd Runner-up by the Burnet Chamber of Commerce. Come support the young ladies of our community during the pageant on Friday, April 10th, 7:00 p.m. on the Main Stage on the Downtown Burnet Square.

Burnet Bulletin Pet Parade

The parade has always included a variety of critters: dogs, cats, hamsters, snakes, birds, goats and even a pig. Some pets are wearing the latest fashions, some pets and their owners share a theme, but most come as they are, ready for lots of tail-wagging excitement.

Grand Parade

What’s a festival without a parade? Marching bands, antique cars, horses, fire trucks, special performing groups such as the Sunrise Beach Lawn Chair Brigade and Hill Country Plungettes will bring a smile to everyone, from the very young to the young-at-heart.

YMCA of the Highland Lakes 5K & 10K

The popular, invigorating run caters to both the experienced runner and first-time runners as well. Runners will go around the historic square, and then continue through the city of Burnet and surrounding countryside.
